We welcome you to be part of our school which puts children first

J Fleming

Killowen Primary School was originally based in the Orange Hall at the opposite side of the road, the present school being built in 1936.  We are naturally very proud of the long history associated with the school.

The enrolment figure is presently approximately 190.  This relatively small number enables the school to promote the warm, caring and friendly ethos which has become a trade mark.

The school has seven classrooms, an after schools room, a learning lounge, a playroom, a library, an office, an enhanced learning room, a staff room, a dining/P.E. hall, two offices, an enclosed courtyard, two play trails, two tarmac playgrounds and a playing field.

We are funded by the Department of Education and have a fully delegated budget under the control of the Board of Governors.
